All parking on the Ferris State University campus is by permit only. Students, including freshmen, are allowed to bring a vehicle on campus. Because of the limited parking on campus, Public Safety has adopted a policy of strict enforcement to protect the rights of those who observe the regulations. So, you will need to park your car ONLY in the lot you've been assigned. Public Safety may ticket your car if you do not follow the parking regulations.
Keep in mind that most parking lots are NOT located just outside the residence halls! Most parking lots for students living in the residence halls are located around the perimeter of the campus. This allows for easier and safer travel of our students between classes. You will find it is easier to walk to each class instead of looking for a parking spot!
