Need to know more about financial aid and how to apply? A good place to start is the Financial Aid page.
Our Financial Aid page also includes information about getting a PIN number to submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) electronically, how to accept your financial aid award notice electronically, scholarship searches, information about work study, how to apply for additional student loans, and many other topics.
How do you know if you qualify for any financial aid? You start by filling out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Be sure to include Ferris' Federal School Code (002260) on your application
Once you receive your PIN number, you'll need to fill out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Within a few weeks of submitting your FAFSA, you will receive a Student Aid Report (SAR). You should review your SAR to make sure it is complete and accurate. Ferris State University will receive this information electronically and will use this information to calculate your eligibility for all financial aid that it administers. You will receive a letter that will direct you to the Financial Aid web page to sign your award notice on line.
Remember you'll need to fill out a new FAFSA before March 1 each year. You can use the same PIN number each year. By meeting the priority deadline of March 1, you can receive the maximum financial aid package you qualify for. Those who don't meet the priority deadline may receive a lesser amount
