Implement Ferris State University Diversity Plan

The University had many diversity highlights in 2008 including establishing an International Student Center, growth of the Tuition Incentive Program (TIP), identifying a more visible home for the Office of Multicultural Student Services, and increasing the number of University-wide diversity-themed programs such as dialogs about racism, sexism and other "hot topics." Several departments worked very hard to infuse diversity themes into the University's promotional material, and engage in aggressive recruitment initiatives like the OMSS bus tour, the Chicago Initiative, and the relocation of an admissions officer in Wayne County. Finally, the University made significant progress in making its facilities more physically accessible and welcoming to individuals with disabilities.
