Biographical Information

Dale began his career at Ferris in 1973 as a faculty member to create and teach the Legal Assistant program and eventually become the program director. Another opportunity led to Dale being involved in the Academic Computing department in the mid 1980s, where he soon assumed the position of Director of Media Services that included Academic Computing, Media Production and Media Distribution.

In 1992, Dale developed and launched the Ferris State University Web site.

Dale also served on the project team for the construction of the FLITE library. Later, he joined the Computer Information Systems faculty in the College of Business, retiring in 2006.

Dale is now working as a part-time Web Developer in University Advancement and Marketing, assisting with the daily upkeep of the Ferris website and training users across campus in the use of the website's content management system.
