Title: Technology Services Coordinator

Scott came to Ferris as a student and began his employment as a student technician with Information Technology Services in September 1986 and as a full-time Computer Technician for COB in August 1996. He is currently employed with the Technology Assistance Center (TAC) as a Technology Services Coordinator for the Automation and Continuity Team (AC).

 

The Automation and Continuity Team is responsible for providing research and/or development of new tools for desktop support teams to work more efficiently. The AC team is also responsible for managing desktop management, end point security and various server applications for the university. In addition to his regular duties, Scott is also coordinating the desktop support transition from Novell Netware to Microsoft’s Active Directory at Ferris State University.
