Ferris State University is home to a wide range of intellectual, cultural, athletic
and social events on its main campus in Big Rapids that appeal to faculty and staff
as well as students. Ferris State University hosts dynamic speakers who address a
variety of issues as well as plays, concerts, films, high-level intercollegiate NCAA
Division II athletics in addition to NCAA Division I men’s ice hockey and more. The
main campus also is home to the Jim Crow Museum of Racist Memorabilia, Card Wildlife
Education Center, Michigan Art Walk, Katke Golf Course, Rankin Art Gallery, a dental
hygiene clinic and the Michigan College of Optometry Clinic.
