Meet Our Staff

Lori Johnson, Manager

Lori has been a part of the Tot's Place program since 1991.  Lori holds a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education with a concentraion in management.  Over the years, Lori has had two children graduate as Tot's Place Alumni and held several positions within the center including student, assistant teacher, preschool specialists manager, and since 1997 has served as the manager.


Deborah Roberts, Assistant Manager

Debbie joined the Tot’s Place staff in 1999. Debbie has a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor emphasis in business administration. Debbie began her career at Tot’s Place as a preschool teacher and then became the infant-toddler teacher. Since 2007 she has been the assistant manager and has also instructed the school-age programs at the center.


Diane Parrish, Preschool Lead Teacher

Diane has been the preschool lead teacher since 2000. Diane has a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and has a wide variety of training in the field of early childhood. Diane has over 20 years experience in early childhood education including previous teaching positions and director experience.


Deanne D’Amico, Infant-Toddler Lead Teacher

Deanne joined our program in 2005. Deanne has a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and has worked in the early childhood field for more than 11 years. While at Tot’s Place, Deanne has worked in the school –age program, the preschool program, and most recently as the infant-toddler lead teacher.


Brenda Winter, Cook

Brenda joined the Tot's Place staff in 2009 as the kitchen assistant.  During the summer of 2013 she assumed the cook's position and now plans and prepares nutritious meals and snacks in conjunction with the Michigan Child and Adult Food Program guidelines.
