Time Frame for Application Review
Length of IRB review depends on the nature of the study, as well as accuracy and completeness
of applications submitted. Although investigators may suggest a review category, classification
is determined by the IRB. Estimated review periods for applications are provided in
the table below. A delay in review may be expected between semesters, during final examination periods,
and university closures.
