This program will strive to illuminate and stimulate the student about the grandeur of the French and their legacy as well as enable students to develop beginning level proficiency in French. Visit sites such as Popes in Avignon, the Louvre, Notre Dame, Versailles, the Orsay museum, Normandy, and many more.
Academic Program
3 Credits in Literature of Southern France - FREN 290
3 Credits French Culture and History - FREN 331
Students will be chosen who have a minimum grade point average of 2.0 and are approved by the Study Abroad program and professor via interviews.
Cost
Estimated program fee of $3,000. Program Fee Includes: airfare, in-country transportation, insurance & lodging. Program Fee Does Not Include: $100 application fee, Ferris tuition, meals, required textbooks, passport, & personal expenses.
Estimated Total Cost: $5150
Living Arrangements
Program participants will reside in hotels and guesthouses with host families.
