Students will learn skills and explore careers that focus on the architectural design, construction, and what goes into sight preparations of buildings and structures. At this academy the students will develop a 3-D building model, use surveying and mapping technologies, learn and work with various construction techniques, and learn the functions and operate heavy equipment used on job-sites.
Camps are taught by leading Ferris State University faculty. Activities include problem solving and team building through the low ropes course and other various activities.

$559 residence hall, $489 commuter. Includes materials and supplies, instruction, residence hall room (unless commuter), meals and campus activities. Check-in is on Sunday between 4:30 pm and 5:45 pm. Orientation will begin at 6:00 pm followed by evening activities. Discount of $25 per camp for multiple camps or multiple siblings will apply.
