The Program

In a relaxed, personalized, and content-rich environment, this four-day academy is designed to prepare leaders for the myriad of challenges that await them. You will discuss unique leadership traits, be given opportunities for self-reflection, and be encouraged to think strategically about your professional goals while advancing the mission of the community college. You will also learn effective strategies for critical leadership tasks such as running effective meetings, collaborative problem solving, and personnel development.

By attending the Leadership Academy, aspiring leaders will become more effective in their current and future roles. This program is designed to create an awareness of YOUR personal leadership strengths, cultivate your skills to inspire others, and leverage your confidence and courage to move an organization forward.

The Academy will actively engage you in all aspects of your learning through thought-provoking presentations, insightful group dialog, and practical application activities. You will gain respect for your peers and develop a lifelong network of professionals.
