The Michigan College of Optometry (MCO) offers an Honors Admission Interview Assurance Program to Ferris State University Honors Program students, provided that they perform all of the following requirements:

  1. Complete all pre-optometry courses within the time frame established by the MCO.
  2. Attain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 in their undergraduate coursework completed by the end of the fall semester, prior to the year of requested Optometry admissions.
  3. Attain an academic average score of 310 on the Optometry Admissions Test (OAT).
  4. Comply with all other optometry admission requirements and OAT deadlines. Students need to apply before February 1st to be eligible.
