Book Discussion Group
Mind, Brain and Education
By David Sousa

Understanding how the brain learns helps teachers do their jobs more effectively. In this book, primary researchers share the latest findings on the learning process and address their implications for educational theory and practice. Explore applications, examples, and suggestions for further thought and research, strategies for all subject areas, and new ways of thinking about intelligence and academic ability.

We will meet 5 times throughout the Spring 2014 semester from 3 to 4:15 PM in FLITE 405.  The dates are: January 24 and 31, February 7,  14, and 21.  Each participant will receive a copy of the book.

Please RSVP for this book discussion group by email to or call 231-591-3826.
