All faculty and staff are invited to participate in a discussion of Aviva Cantor’s book, Jewish Women Jewish Men: The Legacy of Patriarchy in Jewish Life.  We will also have a unique opportunity to meet Ms. Cantor during her visit to FSU in April 2014.

The discussion group will be led by a group of Ferris professors and students including Barry and Caryn Mehler and Tracy Busch.

About the book and Ms. Cantor:  Author Aviva Cantor shows how every aspect of Jewish life has been affected by patriarchy and offers a liberating vision of a society transformed by humane feminist values.

Faculty and staff who wish to participate in the discussion group can pick up their copy of the book at FSU’s Office of International Education, IRC 134.

This is funded in part by a Faculty/Staff Diversity Mini-Grant to Dr. Barry Mehler from the Diversity and Inclusion Office at Ferris State University.

Please RSVP for this book discussion group by email to fctl@ferris.edu or call 231-591-3826.
